Product Overview

This sleeve housing from the VARIOCON product family, specifically the VC3 design, is constructed from gray polyamide. It is suitable for applications in plant, controller, and electrical device engineering. When using fiber optics, the bending radii of the cable manufacturers must be observed. For outdoor applications, the connectors must be separately protected against environmental influences. Assembled products must not be manipulated or improperly opened. Only use mating connectors specified in the technical data. Conductive connector housings must be grounded for operating voltages > 50 V AC. Ensure protective or functional ground is properly connected. Applicable when combining several circuits in a cable and/or connector are VDE 0100/1.97 411.1.3.2 and DIN EN 60 204/11.98 14.1.3. Installation notes/Design In documents online must be observed. Use a protective cap for unused connectors. Operate the connector only when fully plugged in.
