Product Description
PSA Oxygen Generator (Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Generator) is a core combustion-supporting equipment in the glass
manufacturing industry. Based on pressure swing adsorption
technology, it can produce high-concentration oxygen with a flow
rate of 800Nm³/h and 94% purity, featuring core advantages of
stable purity, high combustion-supporting efficiency, and reliable
operation. As a typical application of oxygen plant psa technology, it provides oxygen-enriched combustion support for glass melting
furnaces, increasing the combustion temperature by 300-500℃. It
significantly improves glass melting efficiency, reduces fuel
consumption and pollutant emissions, serving as a key equipment for
glass manufacturing enterprises to improve quality and efficiency,
save energy and reduce consumption.

As a large-scale industrial equipment, the standardization of
packaging, transportation, installation and commissioning of the PSA Oxygen Generator directly affects its performance. For packaging: the main body of
the equipment is packed in wooden boxes, fixed with foam buffer
materials inside; core components (adsorption towers, fans, valves)
are packaged separately to prevent collision damage during
transportation; electrical components and control systems are
packaged with waterproof and dustproof materials to avoid moisture
and dust pollution. For transportation: logistics companies with
large-scale transportation qualifications should be selected,
vehicles equipped with shock absorption devices, and transportation
routes should avoid bumpy roads to ensure the equipment arrives at
the site smoothly.
Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a
professional team. Firstly, determine the equipment installation
location according to the glass factory’s workshop layout and
melting furnace position. The site should be flat and
well-ventilated, away from high-temperature melting furnaces
(distance ≥5 meters), with reserved maintenance space. After fixing
the equipment, connect the oxygen pipelines and electrical systems.
The pipelines are made of high-temperature resistant stainless
steel, and pressure testing and leakage detection should be
performed after installation. During the commissioning phase: first
conduct no-load operation to check the equipment’s operating status
and parameter stability; then gradually load to the rated flow
rate, and perform joint commissioning with the melting furnace’s
DCS system to ensure the oxygen flow rate and pressure are
accurately matched with the melting furnace load. After the
completion of commissioning, the supplier shall provide the glass
factory with a detailed installation and commissioning report and
operation manual, and train the operators.
The high-temperature and high-dust environment of glass
manufacturing workshops is prone to causing faults in the PSA Oxygen Generator. Timely troubleshooting and resolution can ensure production
continuity.
- Common Fault 1: Decreased oxygen purity. Possible causes include
molecular sieve contamination, abnormal adsorption-desorption cycle
parameters, or failure of the pretreatment system. Solutions: clean
or replace the molecular sieve, recalibrate the cycle parameters,
and replace the pretreatment filter element.
- Common Fault 2: Increased equipment energy consumption. Possible
causes include reduced fan efficiency, pipeline leakage, or poor
sealing of adsorption towers. Actions required: overhaul the fan,
repair pipeline leakage points, and replace seals.
- Common Fault 3: Equipment failure to start. Possible causes include
power supply failure, control system failure, or triggering of
safety protection devices. Actions required: check the power
supply, overhaul the control system, and reset after
troubleshooting safety hazards.
It is recommended that glass factories establish equipment
operation logs to record operating parameters and fault conditions,
and conduct regular preventive maintenance. Meanwhile, establish
long-term cooperative relationships with psa oxygen plant manufacturer to ensure timely technical support and spare parts supply when
faults occur, minimizing downtime to the greatest extent.
With its 94% high purity and 800Nm³/h large flow rate, the PSA Oxygen Generator has become an efficiency engine for combustion support in glass
manufacturing. Its oxygen plant psa technology can provide sufficient and stable oxygen-enriched support for
glass melting furnaces. Combined with standardized packaging and
transportation, installation and commissioning, and timely fault
troubleshooting, it can help glass enterprises improve production
efficiency, enhance product quality, reduce energy consumption and
emissions, and achieve sustainable development.
