6. Quick Start Guide

1. Insert module in any VersaMax I/O slot; torque captive screws 0.4 N·m.
2. Wire port – use shielded CAT5e, ground shield at panel entry only.
3. Assign IP – rotary switches 0-999 for last octet, or DHCP via software.
4. Configure – Proficy ME > Hardware > ETM001 > Modbus/EGD tables.
5. Download – store config in CPU flash; cycle power optional.
6. Verify LEDs – green “LINK” steady, amber “ACT” blinks with traffic.
