ABB TB820V2 is a standard I/O module Terminal Base specially designed for the S800 I/O series of ABB AC 800M control systems. This base adopts screw-type terminal blocks for installing compatible S800 compact I/O modules with a width of 22.5mm (such as AI801, DI801, DO801, etc.), providing a safe, clear and maintainable field signal access solution.

Installation and Usage instructions
Mechanical installation: Insert the TB820V2 into the standard 35mm DIN rail and lock it upon hearing a "click" sound.
Identification Settings: Insert printed or handwritten labels (high-temperature resistant label paper is recommended) into the transparent window above each channel.
Wiring steps
Remove about 8mm of the cable insulation layer.
Insert the wire into the corresponding terminal hole;
Tighten the screw with a screwdriver (recommended torque: 0.5 N·m);
Press the cable shielding layer into the top shielding clamp and fix it.
Module installation: Insert the S800 compact I/O module (such as DI801) vertically into the TB820V2 base and ensure it is fully in place.
Maintenance advantage: The I/O module supports hot-swappable replacement (subject to system configuration permission), without the need for power-off or rewiring.
