The GE DS200FCSAG2ACB is a specialized Current Sensing Interface Card designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System—including both TMR and Simplex variants. As part of the Mark V series, it leverages GE’s patented Speedtronic control technology, one of the final GE Mark product lines to do so.
Its core role is to accurately measure electric current and
establish a current path between Mark V PCBs, while also monitoring
current feedback in drive systems to ensure precise control,
enhance operational efficiency, and maintain system performance.
Physically, it is a small board with edge markings and surface
notches for easy installation alignment; four corner drill holes;
and identifying codes plus its product number for quick
recognition. Hardware components are minimal but targeted: two each
of pin header connectors, polyvinyl capacitors, electrolytic
capacitors, and Mate-N-Lok connectors; 16 diodes; four surface
wires acting as resistors; and a Mark V-standard thick PCB coating
that prioritizes protection for critical hardware components. It
also includes Mark V-series standardized voltage-limiting hardware.
