Q: Is it compatible with earlier models?
A: Yes. XL components (probe, cable, sensor) are physically and electrically interchangeable with older non-XL 3300-series

5 mm and 8 mm parts. However, mixing XL and non-XL components limits

overall performance to the non-XL specifications .

Q: What’s new with the XL series?
A: Notable enhancements include tool-less ClickLoc connectors, SpringLoc wiring, improved RFI/EMI resilience

for easier installations, and higher build robustness (e.g. CableLoc, TipLoc design) .

Q: Why choose 8 mm probe size?
A: The 8 mm probe offers thicker molded PPS encapsulation for greater mechanical strength. Use it wherever

space permits; choose 5 mm or NSv style only if side-clearance is limited.

Q: What is the installation configuration of the Proximitor Sensor?

A:It fits both DIN-rail and traditional 4-hole panel mounting, with electrical isolation built in—eliminating

the need for separate isolator plates.
