A high-definition, starlight-level camera module in an ultra-compact 30mm circular form factor. Features 1080p video at 60fps and simultaneous SDI & CVBS output. Designed for miniature and space-critical applications.

The SNQ-2978C is the compact variant of the SNQ-2978 module. It incorporates the identical high-performance Sony IMX290 sensor and functionality – including 60fps video and simultaneous SDI/CVBS output – onto a significantly smaller 30mm diameter circular PCB. This design is specifically for integrators and OEMs who require a full-featured camera core for products where minimizing size and weight is the primary concern, without sacrificing image quality or output flexibility.

The defining characteristic of this module is its 30mm circular shape. This allows it to be installed in much smaller and more discreet housings than standard 38mm square modules. Please ensure your lens holder and housing design are compatible with this unique size and shape.

Like its larger counterpart, this module captures and outputs video at 60 frames per second (fps), making it suitable for high-speed capture scenarios like traffic monitoring or fast-moving industrial processes, even in a miniature format.

This module provides two video outputs simultaneously:

1. EX-SDI: A digital output for uncompressed 1080p60 video quality.
2. CVBS: A standard definition analog output for legacy compatibility.
   This dual-output feature is maintained despite the smaller board size.
