• Function

1.Maintains normal airflow in the exhaust system.
Exhaust leaks can directly disrupt the engine's exhaust backpressure balance. This gasket ensures engine efficiency through its sealing function.Prevents exhaust short-circuiting: If the gasket seal fails, some exhaust gas will leak out of the manifold joint instead of being discharged through the exhaust pipe, resulting in reduced exhaust backpressure and disrupting the engine's "intake-combustion-exhaust" cycle.

2.rotects surrounding components: Isolates heat damage.
Engine exhaust temperatures are extremely high (over 800°C under some operating conditions). This gasket seals and prevents high-temperature gases from contacting surrounding components.
Prevents heat radiation and heat conduction: Exhaust leakage is prevented from directly contacting components such as the engine block, wiring harness, and plastic piping, preventing these components from aging, melting, or cracking due to high temperatures.
