Working Principle

The Gripper Pneumatic Quick-Change System consists of two main components:

When a tool change is required, compressed air activates the locking mechanism—typically pneumatic pistons or clamping balls—that engage or disengage the two plates. Once locked, the connection is rigid, ensuring high repeatability and precision alignment.

Release is achieved by reversing the air pressure, allowing the robot to detach the current gripper and attach another within seconds.
