The Mark VI series is designed to be a synergistic blend of hardware and software, and is based on control modules with 13- or 21-slot VME racks, available in both mono-redundant and triple-redundant formats. Available in single and triple redundancy, they are suitable for small applications as well as large integrated systems ranging from single to multiple modules.

The boards are mainly used for the connection between the bridge personality interface boards and the main control boards of the Innova series drives. They are mounted in a VME-type rack, with two backplane connectors for the connection, and need to be mounted in slot 5, which is narrower than the front panel. The front panel has the board ID, the GE logo and an opening.

Functions
1.Interface Functions: Acts as an IGBT driver/source bridge interface board, providing an interface between the main control board and cards such as BPIA/BPIB, SCNV, etc., as well as a bridge interface board between the bridge personality interface board and the main control board of the Innovative Series driver.

2.Monitoring and Control: Provides bridge and ambient temperature monitoring with a fan pulse width modulation speed control interface and four RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor inputs for associated temperature monitoring.

3.Components and Storage: Includes four relays (for multiple functions), a 1024-bit serial memory device (for storing card information, etc.), but does not include LEDs, fuses, test points, or adjustable hardware.
