1. Introduction

The test pin is designed according to BS1363-1 figure 1 & clause 12.6.1, BS1363-2 figure 1 & clauses 9.2.1, 12.8.1, 13.7.1, 20.1.4, and BS1363-3 figure 1 & clauses 9.2.1, 12.8.1, 13.7.1, 20.1.4, and BS1363-5 figure 1 7 clauses 12.5.1.5, 12.5.2.2.2, for checking the openings of the BS plugs and socket-outlets.
