INTRO

The dount foam fender is a specialized type of fender designed for use in the marine environment. Its unique name, "dount" (which might be a variation of "doughnut"), likely refers to its shape, often resembling a circular ring with a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. This shape gives it distinct characteristics and advantages in protecting vessels and structures in the water.

Construction

The dount foam fender typically has a circular or toroidal shape. The outer diameter and inner diameter, as well as the height or thickness of the fender, can vary depending on the specific application and requirements. For small - scale boats, the dimensions might be relatively small, while for large commercial vessels or marine installations, the fenders can be quite substantial in size

Applications

Initially established as Qingdao Luhang Marine Airbag Factory in 1988 and changed to Qingdao Luhang Marine Airbags and Fenders Co.,Ltd in 2011, Qingdao Luhang had been devoted itself to developing and manufacturing marine airbags and marine fenders for more than 2 decades.

The factory area is 56,000m² with building area of  21,000m². The company has registered capital of USD 3 million and fixed asset of USD1.2 billion.
