Certification Introduction
UAE TRA is an agency that regulates radio and telecommunications. According to TRA regulations, all radio and communication equipment must obtain a model license before being sold to the UAE market. The certification applicant must be a local company or a foreign company, but the applicant must be registered with TRA to supply in the UAE. The license is valid for 5 years, and NTEK can apply for the license on behalf of you.

Applicable product scope
Currently, the scope of control of compulsory product conformity certification mainly involves IT and home appliances, and other categories of products are gradually included, such as: mobile phones, tablets, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers, projectors, wireless chargers, massage instruments and other products;.
Application materials
1. Authorization Letter;
2. TRA application form;
3. Declaration of Conformity;
4. Company business license and contact information;
5. Product manual (including product technical parameters, frequency, frequency range and power and other technical specifications);
6. RF test report and certificate, product pictures;
7. Samples;
Regulatory update
The UAE regulator, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), issued a notice on June 17, 2020 on new labeling requirements for TRA certified products: TRA Declaration of Conformity Card (Type Certification System Conformity Mark).
This change will affect all equipment to be imported into the UAE, and equipment already on the market does not need to be changed.

- The product should include the product declaration card specified above.
- The label can be marked in black and white.
- The QR code should contain the basic information shown in the middle box. - TA RTTE refers to the type approval certificate number. - Type refers to the device type, such as mobile phone, tablet, etc.

LCS is recognized as IEC/ISO17025 laboratories accepted by CNAS and NVLAP, accredited by CPSC, CMA, accredited for CQC, ISTA, CBTL, SASO, SABS. Meanwhile LCS become laboratory authorized by TUV, BQTF issued by the SIG.
