New Energy Vehicle Product Certification
Basic Introduction
New energy vehicles refer to vehicles that use unconventional
vehicle fuels as a power source (or use conventional vehicle fuels
and adopt new vehicle power devices), integrate advanced
technologies in vehicle power control and drive, and form vehicles
with advanced technical principles, new technologies, and new
structures.
New energy vehicles include gas vehicles (liquefied natural gas,
compressed natural gas), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), pure
electric vehicles (BEV), liquefied petroleum gas vehicles, hydrogen
energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles (oil and gas hybrid, oil and
electricity hybrid), solar vehicles, and other new energy vehicles
(such as high-efficiency energy storage devices), etc., and their
exhaust emissions are relatively low.
As of the end of 2010, the global natural gas vehicle ownership has
exceeded 12.67 million vehicles, and the number of natural gas
filling stations has exceeded 18,200. China's natural gas vehicles
are developing rapidly, among which LNG (liquefied natural gas)
vehicles are growing at an average annual sales rate of more than
20%, and CNG (compressed natural gas) vehicle sales are growing at
an average annual sales rate of more than 30%.
In addition to the testing indicators for ordinary cars, the
quality certification of new energy vehicles also has some specific
testing standards, such as: electric vehicle defrosting, electric
vehicle defogging, electric vehicle graphic signs, fuel cell
electric vehicle safety technical requirements, electromagnetic
radiation intensity, electric vehicle lithium-ion battery
performance, electric vehicle lead-acid battery performance,
electric vehicle safety requirements, etc., a total of 11 items.
