The mold section is produced with an LKM mold base and is structured with a cold runner system. It is etched with MT11010 on the surface, and specific regions are subjected to EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) using VDI27# (Makino) and LKM standard. The mold measures 400mm in length, 450mm in width, and 429mm in height. A pin point gate is utilized for the mold gate. |
The mold is designed to withstand up to 500,000 shots during its tool life. It is constructed with a three-plates configuration, including a hardened cavity and core composed of S136 steel with a surface hardness exceeding 600HV.
