Hydraulic fluids
The A10VSO variable pump is designed for operation with HLP mineral oil according to DIN 51524.
Application instructions and requirements for hydraulic fluids should be taken from the following data sheets before the start of project planning:
90220: Hydraulic fluids based on mineral oils and related hydrocarbons
90221: Environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids
90222: Fire-resistant, water-free hydraulic fluids (HFDR/HFDU)

DRF/DRS – Pressure and flow controller
In addition to the pressure controller function (see page 12), a variable orifice (e.g. directional valve) is used to adjust the differential pressure upstream and downstream of the orifice.
This is used to control the pump flow. The pump flow is equal to the actual required flow by the consumer, regardless of changing pressure levels. The pressure controller overrides the flow control function.
Note
The DFR1 version has no connection from X to the reservoir so the LS relief has to be incorporated into the system.
Because of the flushing function, sufficient unloading of the X-line must also be provided.
Basic position in depressurized state:Vg max.
Setting range1) for pressure control 20 to 280 bar standard is 280 bar.
