Shipyard crane or shipbuilding crane is a gantry crane with large lifting capacity, multiple functions and high efficiency, which is specially used for segmental transportation, docking and overhead turning of large ships in docks or shipyards.
Marine cranes have the characteristics of reasonable structure, excellent performance, stable start and stop, safe and reliable driving, low noise, spacious cabin, good vision, convenient maintenance, and good parts interchangeability.
The marine crane has multiple micro-motion functions such as single hoisting, hoisting hoisting, aerial flipping, and unbalanced micro-turning in the air.The trolley has double main hooks, which are respectively located on the outside of the main girder of the shipbuilding gantry crane, and can move 0-2m horizontally separately or simultaneously.The lower crab's primary and secondary hooks are located under the center of the shipyard crane beam.The two crabs of the gantry crane can interact with each other in the air. Shipyard gantry cranes adopt reliable wind shielding devices, such as rail clamps and ground anchors, to prevent storms and ensure the safety of gantry cranes. The main girder of the crane in the shipyard adopts a welded structure, which has low dead weight, high vertical and horizontal rigidity, and small wheel loads transmitted to the crane runway.
