Impregnated Diamond Core Bit
Impregnated Diamond Core Bit is made from high-quality synthetic
diamond and metal powder which could be used in various types of
strata. The best effect is achieved through the flexible design
according to the different strata and parameters of drilling
equipment.
Surface Set Diamond Core Bit
Surface Set Diamond Bit is produced from a single layer of natural
diamond setting on the surface of bit crown with hard matrix, and
primarily recommended for drilling relatively soft, abrasive,
unconsolidated formations that are not effectively drilled by
impregnated diamond bit. It is also recommended for drilling harder
formations, which the available rotary speeds and bit loads are
insufficient to use impregnated diamond bits due to drilling
equipment limitations.
In most cases, Surface Set Diamond Bits will provide higher rates
of penetration than in softer formations due to the greater degree
of exposure of the individual diamond crystals.
