Adapter Spool is the part of the wellhead equipment used in the oilfield drilling operation. The adapter spool / cross over spool is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A standard, the material is AISI 4130 or 410SS as per customer's requirement, The adapter spool have end connections of different sizes, pressure ratings and/or designs. Adapter spool is designed to avoid the bolt fit up fouling and to allow connection of different drilling equipment.
