About lens

1. Definition of a lens a lens is an optical element made of transparent material (e. g. , glass, crystal, etc.) . Lenses can be divided into two general categories: convex and concave lenses. The central part is thicker than the edge of the part called convex lens, there are double convex, flat convex, four convex three. Convex lens has the effect of focusing light, so also known as“Convergence lens”, “Positive lens”. The central part is thinner than the edge called concave lens, there are double concave, flat four, convex concave three. Four lenses have the effect of diverging light, so also called“Diverging lens”, “Negative lens”. LED lens is a kind of optical system which can be used to change the light field distribution of LED according to the different effect.

The function and advantage of LED lens
