The calibration furnace may be ordered with or without the isothermal block. Use without the isothermal block to work with larger diameter probes or multiple probes bound together.

The ceramic isothermal block helps distribute heat evenly and holds up to four 1/4" (6.5 mm) diameter thermocouple probes at once — perfect for comparison calibrations. Both the thermo well and isothermal block are composed of alumina ceramic to handle high temperatures and increase thermocouple accuracy over time by reducing metal contamination of your probe.

The integral programmable temperature controller let you easily set the furnace temperature, ramp rate, and soak time for up to eight temperature points. When paired with a PANRAN Calibration PR320E Super-DAQ precision temperature scanner, you can program and automate the calibration of up to 40 thermocouples. The scanner also acts as a data logger and provides PC interface.

The PR322 series is equipped with a special power control cabinet:

1. Adopts patented multiple over-current protection, and is provided with power-on soft start, heating current limitation, freewheeling protection, automatic stop and other functions.

2. No manual voltage gear shift or meter adjustment is required for power-on and heating process.

3. Equipped with RS485 and RS232 dual-communication connections.

4. Configured with ZRJ series calibration system software, the functions of start/stop, real-time recording, parameter query setting, etc. can be achieved.

5. While protecting the safety of the equipment, the manual operation is greatly simplified.
