Materials of the industrial springs
We have springs available in the following 3 materials. The performance and price of the 60Si2MnA and the 50CrVA are the same, 65Mn is a cheap one to meet the low-level requirements.
The 60Si2MnA and the 50CrVA are higher-grade spring steel , Tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥ 1274 (130), used as a high-load important spring with a large cross section and a valve spring with a working temperature <300 °C, a piston spring, a safety valve spring, a injection mold spring and stamping die spring.
The 65Mn spring steel , the tensile strength σb (MPa): 825~925, used for small loads, small sizes of springs, seat springs, spring springs, spring rings, valve springs, clutch reeds, brake springs, cold coil springs, etc.
