Polyamide Woven Filter Meshes

General Introduction:

Polyamide is a common and standard chemical fiber in the market, first invented and introduced by Dupont with two main types: PA 6 and PA 6.6; In Filtration Industry, PA 6 is known as nylon or polyamide, widely seen application in different industries requiring screening and filtration.

How Polyamide Mesh Woven:

Same with other filter meshes/screen meshes, polyamide woven filter meshes are woven with monofilament / multifilament polyamide yarns in warp and weft direction. Warp yarns are pre-drawn into the reeds while weft yarns are shuttled up and down warp yarn to form a square holes.

Process of Polyamide Woven Filter Meshes:

1. Yarns supplied will be inspected: surface, diameter, strength

2. Yarns will be rolled and drawn into heddle preparing for weaving

3. After precess 1 and 2, yarns will be woven on the looms.

4. When mesh is woven and finished from looms, mesh will be washed and heat-setting treated.

5. Final inspection will be made to check the mesh opening, mesh count and tensile strength of meshes.
