S558-5500-67 SMD Ethernet Lan Transformer For Network Router
Description:
Pulse transformers for LAN applications transmit pulse signals
through LAN cables with networking equipment and audiovisual
equipment. They protect the circuits of these devices by blocking
electrostatic discharges and high-voltage transients due to
insulation between the primary and secondary windings.
Although they have low total harmonic distortion, they are
compliant with 10/100/1000BASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, and
10GBASE-T LAN systems as well as PoE (Power Over Ethernet).
While the wire windings of conventional pulse transformers are
produced manually, TDK’s new pulse transformers are manufactured
with a compact SMT design using an automatic winding and assembly
technology. As a result they feature stable electrical
characteristics and take up less space.
