CA568 is an STS (Standard Transfer Specification) approved smart prepayment water meter.The meter is built within a hydraulically operating ball valve that is driven by low power usage motor. The battery can work up to 10 years with once a day valve on /off. The meter automatically shuts off when water credit units are used up or tamper is detected such as magnetic scarmbling, damage, or battery loss. The meter sustains in grit particle water environment and resistant to back flow thanks to built-in strainer and non-return valve. To sum up, Calin prepaid water meter is stable and secured for long lasting operation.

A handy remote keypad CIU is offered to enter recharge 20 digits topup token codes. CIU is customer inteface unit , a 3x4 button keypad with LCD display. Customer buy credit from vendor stand and enter it via a CIU in house. CIU can also be used to toggle info check by entering short codes.

CA568 can work with local MPESA or Airtel or any 3rd party payment systems, which greatly improves service providers' cash-flow and revenue collection. Customers no need visit physical vending point , but just send SMS or USSD via their cellphones and recharge token code will be sent back after payment is done.
