11kV - 1600kVA Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer with Airforced Fan
(ONAF) , Three Phases

- Strong capability with anti-short circuit, high anti-lightning
- HV coil is vacuum casted with epoxy resin with pressure,
capabilities for better the cast without pressure.
- Simulating analysis being used in the core model, the resonance can
be avoided and the noise is reduced. Simulation calculation and
analysis of lighting impulse wave are applied to the HV Coils;
anti-lighting impulse capability is improved.
The core can be constructed of the best quality low loss, cold
rolled, grain oriented electrical steel laminations.
All core plates can be insulated from one to another to reduce the
loss to a minimum, and the core can be held together by bolts and
clamping plates all of which can be adequately insulated. The
completed core can be provided with lifting eyes to facilitate its
removal from transformer tank and prevent movement during transport
or service. All steel sections used for supporting the core are to
be thoroughly sand blasted after cutting, drilling and welding.
The core can be protected against corrosion by a resin or special
varnish coat, thick enough to give adequate protection.
2. Winding and Insulation Level:
All windings can be made of high conductivity conductors of best
quality and shall be fully insulated to IEC 60076-11, and for a
system highest voltage of 12.0 KV. The insulation shall be Class
“F” to British Standard Specification No. 2757.
The HV-LV winding can be (CU.– CU.) or (Al.– Al.) or (CU.– Al.),
and can be (wire/foil/ sheet).
Both H.V. and L.V. windings can be cast under vacuum into moulds
with reinforced epoxy resin. The windings shall be suitable for
operation under the climatic conditions where the humidity may
reach as high as 100%.
It can also be possible to energize the transformer after long
periods of storage or being dead without any need for drying.
